is a remote, private getaway off the R355 on the P2250 near Skoorsteenberg
- a world renowned geological wonder.
Next to the guest-house is a 900m landing strip on the coordinates
32°24,0 S - 19°50,7 E
Beside the main building, there are 3 self-catering, fully equipped
units. We can accommodate small groups and have accommodated private
weddings, birthdays, teambuilding exercises as well as film and
commercial shoots.
The Tanqua area is a very popular venue for bird watching and some
rare birds can be found here.
The sunsets and stars are amazing in this remote location. A huge
private dam is located on the farm.

Blesfontein Guest Farm
Situated
± 28 km from Sutherland on the Bo-Visrivier road, the farm
is in close proximity to all the other places of interest in and
around Sutherland. The farm sports a large number of wild animals
and bird life. In springtime a colourful display of wild flowers
welcomes the visitor. The farm is ideal for mountain bikes or hiking
and a few 4x4 trails exist. The weather varies from pleasantly cool
in summer to occasional snow in winter.

o Two self-catering living units. Each spacious flat consists of
a living-room (with built-in braai), kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.

o The Cow Shed Honey-moon Suite. Large old stone building; open-plan
